5) India Vs Pakistan (ICC T20 World Cup 2024)

India defended a target of 120 runs against Pakistan in the 2024 T20 World Cup. This was the fifth lowest score defended in the T20 World Cup.

After losing the toss and batting first, India were all out after scoring 119 runs in 19 overs. Rishabh Pant scored the most runs from India’s side. Pant faced 31 balls and scored 42 runs. From Pakistan’s side, Naseem Shah, Harris Rauf took three wickets each and Mohammad Aamir took two wickets.

South Africa managed to defend the second-lowest score in the history of the ICC T20 World Cup.

The decision to bat first after winning the toss proved wrong for South Africa and their first wicket fell at zero runs. After losing four wickets at 23 runs, Klaasen and Miller took charge of South Africa’s innings. However, South Africa’s team could only score 113 runs in 20 overs.
